AwareIM
is a remarkable piece of software made by Awaresoft Pty Ltd.

Their website says:

  • AwareIM allows you to build complex, reliable and powerful web-based database applications in a fraction of conventional development times.
  • Aware IM works on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and supports standard SQLdatabases (MySQL, SQL Server, Derby). It automatically handles database tables and data relationships; automatically generates professionally looking HTML data forms and menus; and uses business rules - not scripts.


We used to develop solutions based on MS-Access for almost 10 years by now.
But we switched to Aware IM for most of our new development work because :

  • It's easy !
  • It produces rock solid applications
  • Our first project made with Aware IM got finished after about 1/3 of the time we calculated for using Access.
